By installing or using InkText you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
InkText converts images of handwriting into editable text, using on-device recognition and an optional cloud AI mode. AI mode includes a limited number of free scans per month; additional use requires a Pro subscription or lifetime unlock purchased through Google Play.
Handwriting recognition is inherently imperfect. Transcriptions (on-device or AI) may contain errors or omissions. Always review the output before relying on it. Do not use InkText as the sole means of capturing information where errors could cause harm (legal, medical, financial or safety-critical content).
You may only scan material you have the right to process. You must not use the app or its AI service for unlawful content, to infringe others' rights, or to probe, overload, or disrupt the service (including circumventing scan quotas).
Your images and transcriptions remain yours. In AI mode you grant us and our AI provider the limited right to process the submitted image solely to return a transcription, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not store your content server-side.
AI mode depends on network connectivity and third-party services and may be interrupted, rate-limited, or discontinued. On-device mode works offline.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, and our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
